I have worked with Barbara before. She did a great job on my former vacation, and that is why I asked for her again. Very professional and thorough.
Overall, it was a mixed bag. From a purely sightseeing standpoint, it was great: the things we saw, learned and experienced. Walking around Vienna was like stepping back in history. But, this was a Christmas market tour and should have been the primary focus. Most of the markets were closed when we came by. I was told they come alive in the evening. Those that were open were very, very small and sold mostly food and beverage rather than the hand-made items that the markets are known for. Bratislava had a lovely market--it had a variety but, unfortunately, that day it rained/snowed. (BTW, it was the only day of our trip that the weather didn't cooperate.) I had high expectations of Vienna. Unfortunately, we were there on a Saturday and the crowds were wall-to-wall people. Not enjoyable. The Foodie tour in Bratislava was poor. It was mostly a city tour with one stop for a treat and one stop for some mulled wine. A foodie tour suggests a sampling of several foods, not just one. Very disappointed.

I was mostly satisfied with the trip. The beginning was rough as the airport pickup didn’t go smoothly. There was miscommunication about where we were to be picked up. Some of the meals were not what I expected. Especially disappointing was the food at the optional Bavarian dinner show. I loved the black forest experience and the cake that was served. The horse and carriage ride was wonderful. As was the gondola ride in Innsbruck. I was disappointed that we did not go to the Christmas market train depot in Zurich. As that was advertised for our trip. I enjoyed the Christmas markets except for the small one we went to in Zurich. Did not get a satisfactory explanation as to why we didn’t go to the train depot.

Christmas Markets of Austria, Croatia and Slovenia tour was an informative interesting fun trip. All the tour guides were knowledgeable and great! Flight bookings was a bit inconvenient.
Maybe add a museum visit as the free time was around lunch. It was not enough since it takes time to find and choose a place to eat being in a foreign place. Maybe add a visit to the country side not just the city.

Excellent service with Rita!
The itinerary for the trip changed from the time of booking until the actual trip. Auscwitz was no included nor was Birkenau. We spent half a day sitting in a coffee shop because we chose not to walk through. We have already been and had seen enough of it the first time. Christmas Markets to a back seat to everything else. The trip is advertised as Christmas Markets. Very disappointing to many!

Excellent except for the fact that she told our tour director that she had called us each to inform us that we would have to book our own airport shuttle due to the fact that our flight was booked (by the company) too early for the regular shuttle. No one in our party ever received a phone call from your company, even though our flights were booked by your company.
Excellent tour director Judith Lee. Nice hotels, but all rooms were too hot and thermostats couldn’t be adjusted. Would have liked to see more Christmas markets at night. Enjoyed all extra excursions. The only thing that was unfortunate was that our return flights, which were booked by your company, were too early for the shuttle and we had to scramble to get up at 4:30 am and catch a train to Zurich so we could make our 9:40 flight to Chicago. One member of our party is elderly and this was difficult for her and her husband. There were 8 people in this predicament. Although the night before we left, Judith had found us an earlier shuttle, it was too late because we had all had to book our tickets for the train by then. Would be nice to get reimbursed for this expense. About $32 euros per person.
